Are you an experienced Aerospace Assembly Technician – Sheet Metal? Able to work within a multi-skilled manufacturing teams on various components and a wide range of Aerospace / Defence products ranging from the traditional tried and tested to our more innovative state-of-the-art designs – next generation of products.

You will be working within the Manufacturing department, performing a varied range of tasks, focused on the assembly and inspection of components and sub-assemblies in accordance with the quality standards and production schedule.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BRING TO THE TEAM

* Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and their related components.
* Ability to use technical specifications, defined working methods and drawings to build components and sub-assemblies
* employ appropriate techniques as specified on the job cards relevant to specific components such that work is undertaken according to requirements
* undertaking self-inspection (and where authorised apply an inspector’s stamp) and quality check of work undertaken in accordance with laid down quality standards and procedures.
* handle materials, goods and components carefully and comply with safety regulations
* Basic understanding of health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
* Manufacturing/engineering working knowledge.

The permanent position will offer you, Life / Medical / Pension plans and also 35 hours per working week, 26 days holiday all within a exciting environment and great Team working environment. You will require SC clearance for the position and as such you need to hold a British Passport, been resident and holding UK Passport for a minimum of 10 years to achieve SC clearance.
