Control Systems Engineer for project team based in South UK or Mid Scotland office – Contract

ICSS technical project requirements are fully defined, agreed and implemented. Role requires experience of
design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables and scheduling.
Ensure the engineered ICSS solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, applicable standards and quality;

Experience:

Degree in Control Systems / Electronics / Chemical Engineering

Good knowledge of PLC based Safety Systems both Hardware and Software platforms – such as Honeywell / Emerson / Schneider. Dual or Tripular redundancy systems. If you go far back enough on ICSS also Quad redundant. Engineers with full project lifecycle experience required from FEED through to Hand Over. Current Industry Guidelines/Standards (e.g., IEC 61508/IEC 61511), strong Team and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Candidate requirement must have:

An engineering degree preferably in Automation and Control or Electrical Engineering.

Experience in the design and development of distributed control systems and/or SCADA systems;
Experience dealing directly with customers and project design life cycles;
