You’ll be undertaking biomechanical digital modelling and analysis to study and reduce potential spinal injuries incurred during ejection seat operations for pilots

Your models will help develop next-generation ejection seats to mitigate and eradicate future injuries.

You need a comprehensive understanding of anthropomorphic test devices (ATD) and instrumentation in collaboration with the Test department.

You’ll also need a degree in biomechanics or similar combined with experience in multibody systems dynamics, trauma modelling, accidental injury studies or crash testing
