Electronics Engineer for new product developments by contributing to the successful completion of product creation projects. All Engineering is undertaken internally via small teams in-house and outsourced specialist engineers. Responsibilities for Electronics Engineer
* Formulate and analyse high level requirements to develop engineering solutions
* Prepare system level designs for new product developments – Create detailed engineering work plans and requirements /specifications
* Provide detailed electrical & electronic engineering design to meet project requirements directly, or, via others, and meet project timescales
* Ensure that designs are properly verified according to engineering procedures and comply with relevant regulatory standards
* Approval of designs for clinical release
Qualifications
* Bachelors or Master’s degree in relevant Electronics or Electrical Engineering or scientific discipline
Relevant knowledge:
* High complexity electronic and electro-mechanical engineered systems
* High speed precision control systems
* Experience in VHDL desirable
* Safety critical systems
* Highly regulated development and product environment
* Knowledge of embedded systems and control communications
* Product development through all phases of the engineering lifecycle from concept to manufacture
* Designing and testing for EMC
Skills
* Ability to demonstrate thorough engineering approach to problem solving
* Experienced in design capture using ECAD tools
* Proven ability to follow tasks through to full conclusion
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
