In charge of a manufacturing cell, you will be managing 20 skilled fabrication and assembly technicians, producing a range of precision mechanisms for aircraft applications – These devices save lives.

You’ll plan, monitor and allocate work across the team, managing their performance through coaching, mentoring, reviews and appraisals – Identifying productivity & quality shortfalls, training needs and material/tooling requirements

Some assembly involves wiring and precision moving part mechanisms so a technical background is essential.

A knowledge of 5S, Kanban, Kaizen or similar quality-driven manufacturing methodology is also required as is good IT literacy on MRP or SAP reporting systems.

In return, you”ll receive on-going training and mentoring yourself to make a major contribution to the production of low volume, high quality, high value equipment which is deployed internationally to saves lives.
