ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Electrical Design Engineer working on high tech Security Systems, must have 4-5 years Electrical Design experience in designing electrical systems. Based a commutable distance from Gatwick Airport

Within the exciting role, your ability to communicate directly with clients, face to face, phone and email is a primary element of this position.

You will also be required to undertake Project Management of the projects you are assigned; this will include all project lifecycle of design, manufacture, programming, and testing of electrical control systems along with post installation of Fault finding and prevention going forward of known issues via strengthened design solutions.

Requirement to have worked on UK Design standards and be competent and aware of relevant legislation associated with Electrical Installation and Design in proximity to public and other buildings.

Your role will also require some basic control system knowledge and ability to programme and interrogate PLC systems and software. Your role will also expect you to take an active role in new and current research, development, and potential implementation of new technologies.

· Minimum 4-5 years of Electrical Design experience or University Graduate would be considered.

· Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Knowledge of using AutoCAD Electrical.

· Knowledge in PLC Programming (LD Programming Language).

· Project Management skills.

· Full UK Driving License.

Experience preferred:

· HMI & MODBUS Protocol.

· UPS System knowledge.

· Variable Frequency Drive knowledge.

· Hydraulics.
