Scheduling Manager will lead the function within UKI PMO, on joining you will be building a team of competent Schedulers and promote the work of the PMO.
Lead scheduling services to a high and consistent standard, ensure effective and efficient data management to feed consistent reporting across the business and at all levels as required.
Integrate Schedulers into Projects, Programmes and bids to achieve profitable growth, accountable for recruitment, development and deployment of all Schedulers, which will also include alignment to professional development. This includes aligning professional development to the requirements of the group Head of P3M.
Autonomous position developing and maintaining regular, open and positive lines of communication within the team, leadership and programme and project teams. Able to manage and deliver transformational work practices. Strong written and verbal communicator able to build strong working relationships with direct reports, wider Programme Team and working with management Leadership team, this is a key attribute!
Significant knowledge and expertise of the development and delivery of complex project schedules using proprietary planning tools, specifically PPM2016 or Primavera P6 – to enable the successful delivery of Projects and Programmes.
Strong experience within Technology Industry with Scheduling / Planning experience with relevant Degree level education or 10 years commercial experience. This is a UK Defence company application and only applicants with ability to obtain SC clearance and uninterrupted full UK residency within the UK since 2010 will be considered.
